IdentityMind at Money2020 Asia
March 8, 2018
IdentityMind Global™, the leader in Digital Identities You Can Trust, today announced that it will exhibiting in Booth E42 at the March 13 – 15, Money 20/20 Asia, at the Marina Bay Sands Expo and Convention Centre, Singapore. IdentityMind provides a SaaS RegTech platform that builds, maintains and analyzes digital identities worldwide, allowing companies to perform identity proofing, risk-based authentication, regulatory identification, and to detect and prevent identity fraud.
“The global digital economy continues to accelerate – specifically in the Asian markets – and we’ve made significant investments in people, offices, partners and our digital identity-based solutions to capitalize on those opportunities,” said Garrett Gafke, CEO, IdentityMind Global. “We see tremendous opportunities for our digital identity-based solutions in know your customer (KYC), anti money laundering (AML), and fraud prevention for cryptocurrencies and ICOs, money service businesses (MSBs), digital marketplaces, and, traditional financial institutions.”
According to Gafke, Asia remains one of the largest unbanked or underbanked populations in the world, including thin file consumers who don’t have enough information on their credit report to generate a score. This makes it challenging for legacy systems to identify them or even understand whether or not they represent a business risk. IdentityMind’s all-in-one risk and compliance platform leverages digital identities to help provide money service businesses (MSBs), money remittance providers, and lenders with the most accurate risk assessment in the market.
IdentityMind has customers on six continents and is growing exponentially in Asia, Latin America, Canada, and the United States. IdentityMind recently opened an office in Beijing, China and secured the participation of Eastern Link Capital, a China focused private equity fund, in IdentityMind’s Series C financing. Eastern Link Capital provides deep domain experience and knowledge of the Chinese and the overall Asian markets.
IdentityMind also recently announced the creation of a new business unit specifically dedicated to providing know your customer (KYC) and anti-money laundering (AML) solutions to address the regulatory and compliance requirements of the rapidly growing global Initial Coin Offering (ICO) and cryptocurrency markets. In the last six months, IdentityMind has worked with over 50 ICO customers, evaluating more than 250,000 users around the world who contributed more than a billion dollars in tokens and digital currencies.
